More schools benefit from ‘Gymnastics in a Box’ –

Gymnastics South Africa, in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Recreation (DoSR) and the Department of Education (DoE), hosted a ‘Gymnastics in a Box’ handover at Khaselihle Primary School last Thursday (May 5).

Utrecht High School, Cacamezela High School, Bethamoya High School, and Khaselihle High School were the four lucky recipients of the start-up boxes. Each box contains skipping ropes, training videos and other items needed to incorporate gymnastics into basic physical education curriculum.

The initiative was launched in May last year and is aimed at promoting gymnastics, especially within schools in the more rural areas.
