Sharnè Dheochand, a 19-year-old beauty queen, is using her modelling career as a platform to bring about world peace.
Sharnè is convinced that by competing in beauty pageants, she will be able to reach a larger audience. She then plans to use this influence to promote charity work and raise awareness about the real issues that many South Africans face.
She decided to compete in the Miss Grand South Africa 2022 pageant in February of this year. She has since made it to the finals, which will take place on July 9.
To be honest, it’s been an amazing journey so far. However, it also necessitated extensive planning and effort, both physically and mentally,” stated Sharnè.
