Naked driver pulled over by RTI
On investigation it was found that the driver was semi naked

On May 14 a concerned member of Road Angels Traffic Information group notified Marlize Harmse of a vehicle that was driving on the R34 from Dundee towards Vryheid in an unstable manner. Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) Chief was contacted and updated on the situation. In a swift manner RTI and SAPS Vryheid spotted the vehicle and the driver was pulled off. On investigation it was found that the driver was semi naked, had no driving license, the vehicle was not licensed and the driver was intoxicated. Alcohol breath test showed 0.61. The driver was taken into custody and the vehicle impounded. The community and the group members are grateful for the swift respond by RTI Vryheid. “It makes us the citizens feel safe to know our voices are heard when we need RTI. Well done,” expressed Marlize in her report.
