Local model scoops five awards at beauty pageant…
Noluthando will be competing in the Miss Dundee July and Miss Urban SA later this year.
Local model Noluthando Hadebe competed in the Miss Independent Ladysmith Pageant, which was held in Ladysmith on July 11.
The event was organised by Namuhla Chonco, who hails from Ezakheni and was previously crowned Miss Teen Tourism World SA.
Noluthando scooped no fewer than five titles at the pageant, namely: Miss Independent Ladysmith 2022 Queen, Miss Independent Ladysmith 2022 Popularity, Miss Independent Ladysmith 2022 Photogenic, Miss Independent Ladysmith 2022 Congeniality and Miss Independent Ladysmith 2022 Philanthropist.
“I am very grateful to everyone who supported, motivated and voted for me, makwande,” said an excited Noluthando. She also thanks her mother, friends and family for being there whenever she needed them.
According to her, winning these titles will help her open closed doors for the youth and upcoming models in Dundee.
“My ultimate dream is to help pave the way for disadvantaged models who are struggling to make a name for themselves.
“I want to teach them to strive to use their talent and skills for the greater good.
“Young models still have a long way to go,” she added.
