The Seven Stars women’s netball team from Ladysmith has qualified to represent uThukela District Municipality at the upcoming provincial games.

This comes after they won the qualifiers on Sunday, June 26, in Winterton. These were the district final games where teams from Alfred Duma, Inkosi Langalibalele and Okhahlamba local municipalities did battle for top honours. The teams taking part had won their local leagues within their respective local municipality.

Seven Stars and River Bees (men’s netball team from Estcourt) will represent the district in the Provincial Challenge Games in Durban next weekend (July 9 and 10).
