Deputy Minister Chikunga’s family laid to rest
Mourners from far and wide paid their final respects to the family
Deputy Minister of Transport Sindisiwe Chikunga bid a final farewell to her son, daughter-in-law and four grandchildren at their funeral service held at Kwazamokuhle School for the Disabled in Ephangweni, Loskop today (July 23).
The family was killed in a vehicle collision along the N11 near the Modelkloof turn-off on July 17.

Khulekani Xaba (40), his wife Zinhle (39) and their children Zenande (13), Amahle (9), Thapelo (7), and Owethu (4) were laid to rest at a funeral service that was attended by government and religious officials, family, friends and the community.
Minister Chikunga, comforted by family, quietly sobbed when the caskets were brought into the tent and while the obituaries were read.
