Dundee Adult Centre holds karaoke night in honour of its founder

The Dundee Adult Centre held their annual karaoke evening on Friday in memory of Dennis Gehren, the founder of the centre.
This year’s theme was ‘Holiday in Africa’ and the contestants had to sing traditional African songs.
It was an evening of song, dance and mirth as residents, along with their friends and family, got into the spirit of belting out ‘numbers’ on the microphone.
Everyone was on their feet and in the party mood, as each song was sung with gusto if not talent. Jenny Gehren (wife of the late Dennis) and her son Mark were the honoured guests at the event.
Isibande Zulu Dancers gave a wonderful display of traditional culture, which was lapped up by an appreciative audience. The staff and residents of the centre then showed off their musical skills, amid much laughter.
