Dundee golfers rise to the occasion in wet and rainy weather conditions
The Northern Natal Golf Union had their prize-giving and annual general meeting after the golf.
Dundee Country Club hosted the final annual Inter-Region League finals on Sunday morning.
There were six teams in the A Division, played in a Medal format; and four teams in the B Division, participating in the format of an IPS.
The players competed in rainy and cold weather conditions, which made things very difficult. The Northern Natal Golf Union had their prize-giving and annual general meeting after the golf.
The winners of the A Division were Dundee A1: Bruce Marx, Sifiso Kunene, Jo Khumalo and Jurie Engelbrecht; while the B Division was won by Ladysmith Country Club: Stuart Hamlon, LP Pieters, Chris Nel, Roy Gibbons and Corne Davel.
Northern Natal president Henk Booysen thanked all the clubs for participating in this year’s league and wished all the players best of luck for the future.
