uThukela has issued a notice to inform the community of Okhahlamba Local Municipality that there is currently a power failure at the Caltex pump station in Bergville.

As a result, areas receiving water from this station may experience low pressure or no water at all.

The fault has been lodged with Eskom and the district municipality is awaiting their response.

Affected areas include: Bergville, Woodford, Rookdale, Bethany, Acton Homes and Hambrook.
