Morning collision leaves one critical, two seriously injured
A light motor vehicle and a mini-bus taxi collided at a busy Newcastle intersection this morning, leaving three people seriously injured.
Three people were left injured after a mini-bus taxi and a vehicle collided at the Albert Wessels and Allen Street intersection earlier this morning (Monday, May 12).
According to Craig Botha of KwaZulu Private Ambulance Services, Paramedics quickly responded to the scene where they treated one patient for critical injuries and two more for serious injuries.
All patients were stabilised at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision remains unclear.
