Man’s body recovered near Forestdale bridge, Dundee
SAPS could not confirm, at this stage, if foul play is suspected.
The body of a man thought to be 53 years old, was recovered last Sunday in a stream under the Forestdale bridge.
Police spokesperson Constable Siyabonga Nkwanyana said that the SAPS were called to the area in the late afternoon after the body was spotted by passersby.
The deceased was identified by family members from Sibongile, who said the man had been missing for a few weeks. An inquest docket has been opened and an investigation continues.
