Bank shows faith in Dundee with branch revamp

A multi-million Rand facelift at Dundee's FNB branch has rekindled faiith in the town's ability to attract national investment.

The multi-million rand renovation of Dundee’s FNB branch is proof of the company’s faith in the town and the strategic focus the bank places on its customers.


So said FNB’s KZN west area manager Pam Pitout at Friday’s official reopening of the branch. Offering a clean, new, modern look, Pitout said she was impressed with the Dundee staff’s dedication in having to work from a container behind the municipality while the renovations were done.

Mayor gives his support

Branch manager Mtobisi Ntuli was full of praise for the staff and is looking forward to being of service to the town. He also thanked Mayor Mcebo Mkhize and Cllrs Abdool and Msezane for being in attendance, with the mayor commenting that he was grateful for the bank’s investment and reminded guests that the municipality holds its main account with FNB.


“We look forward to a positive relationship with FNB in terms of their social labour plan that will benefit our community.”
The symbolic ribbon was cut by Ntuli and the mayor.
The staff then broke into song and dance to signal their joy at having a brand new bank in which to work.
