What to do with unwanted gifts

Oh no, I don't really like this present - so what should I do with it?

Christmas gifts are tokens of appreciation and love. But sometimes, presents from distant relatives may not be what you particularly wanted or needed.

If you don’t know what to do with such gifts, here are some ideas:

You can sell them and use the cash to buy something else, or just save the money for the New Year.

Re-gifting is a growing trend by just wrapping the gift again and giving it as a brand new present to someone else.

A much easier way to get rid of unwanted presents is by donating them to the homeless or to charity. There are many charities in town that are in need of Christmas gifts, such as children’s homes or hospices.

All gifts should be ones that are enjoyed and appreciated, but in the event of them not being fully utilised, it is best that these gifts go to a good place.
