Alfred Duma Local Municipality Mayor Zama Sibisi inspected the landfill site in Ward 20, Acaciavale, yesterday (September 16).

The inspection served as a powerful demonstration of the mayor’s unwavering commitment to both environmental management and effective service delivery within the municipality.

Sibisi warned ‘waste pickers’ against smoking on the premises – to prevent fires – and encouraged them to obtain valid working papers, offering municipal assistance. He also appealed for a collective effort to maintain a clean working environment.
