The Inkatha Freedom Party Women’s Brigade (IFPWB) are picketing outside the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court today (October 20).

A municipal employee accused of sexual harassment is appearing in court and the IFPWB members are demanding that the accused not be granted bail. They are protesting in support of the female employee who was allegedly sexually harassed by her supervisor.

The accused is expected to file for bail during today’s court appearance.

He was arrested last week after a case of sexual harassment was opened at Ladysmith police station.
