Overgrown grass leaves residents afraid

Residents say that vagrants hide in the grass and plan their next break-in

Residents are unhappy about the overgrown grass along Residency Road.

They say the grass hasn’t been cut in a while, even though the issue has been reported countless times.

People living in the area are concerned for their safety, because they claim that ‘vagrants hide in the bushes’ and scope out which homes they can break into.

“Our children play outside and their lives are in danger because criminals are lurking nearby. Homeless people sleep in the area and leave the place smelly and dirty. Now that it’s winter, it gets dark early, which makes the situation even more dangerous,” said one resident who didn’t want to be named.
