uThukela has indicated that, today (July 6), they are experiencing another electrical failure at the Spioenkop Raw Water Pump Station.

Areas such as Observation Hill, Mkhamba Gardens, Modelkloof, Limit Hill, Steadville, Danskraal and St Chad’s are facing water outages as a result. 

Eskom has been notified, but the exact time-frame for repairs is not clear at this stage.

Residents are advised to store water in the interim, while the matter is being addressed.
