Community member hands out water

Pressure is still low in some areas

Community member Rakhee ‘Tilly’ Meyer, together with Gift of the Givers water tankers, came to the rescue this week after many areas were without water.

Residents were fed up with uThukela after water went off on Monday (March 11) and stayed that way until Wednesday (March 13). Some areas had low pressure.

‘Tilly’ and members of Gift of the Givers were seen out and about on Tuesday, handing out water.

Pressure in Acaciavale, Rose Park, Hillside and Chisty Place is still low and certain areas are without water.
