Slow pace at voting stations due to network issues

All smiles as locals make their mark on the ballot papers

Relatively long queues seem to be the hallmark of voting in Ladysmith today (May 29), as voting stations appear to be battling with network issues.

That said, voters seemed upbeat and in good spirits, even with longer-than-normal queues. While it is too early to judge voter turnout, things do seem to be going smoothly.
