Today (June 14) is ‘World Blood Donor Day’ and the blood bank at San Marco Centre is celebrating in style.

They are calling upon all donors to celebrate the day with them, as they have a special sponsor who will be giving away FREE yummy meals to all donors. 

Every year, countries around the world celebrate ‘World Blood Donor Day’ in different ways. The occasion serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products; and to thank all the voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gift.
