Successful youth event hosted by SAPS

The event was organised to encourage the youth to avoid criminal activities

The Ladysmith SAPS station commander hosted a Youth Day event last Friday (June 28) at the Embuzweni sports grounds in the Peacetown area.

The event was organised by the Ladysmith branch and newly-established Embuzweni sub-forum of the Youth Desk, in conjunction with the Ladysmith Social Crime Prevention officer, who partnered with the Department of Health, Sport & Recreation, SASSA, Alfred Duma Municipality, SANCA and Lifeline.

Sumitomo Rubber, Sasko Bakery, TFS Wholesalers, OK AK’s Hyper and the Al-Imdaad Foundation assisted in
making the event a success.
