Donations needed to hold disability awareness event

The event will be held at the Thusong Hall in Roosboom on December 12

The Sizabantu Disability Organisation is asking for help from the community in order for an upcoming disability awareness event to be successful.

Based in Roosboom Ward 11, the organisation was started in 2022 by Manqoba Mtshali. They now cater for 80 disabled people who live in the Roosboom area.

The organisation normally has two events and five programmes yearly, which aim to educate the community on issues that involve disabilities and also to show love and support for those living with disabilities.

“There are lots of challenges that people with disabilities face on a daily basis, hence we need help with funding so that the events we organise will be successful,” said Mtshali.
