Mayor hands over equipment to small business

This handover is just one of many initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development in the uThukela District.

In a bid to promote community empowerment and local economic development, uThukela District Municipality Mayor Inkosi NB Shabalala handed over a grass-cutting machine to two dedicated community members.

The recipients are Mr Sphesihle Mbhele and Mr Sihle Buthelezi, who live in Ezakheni Ward 4.

The hand-over, held recently, symbolises the municipality’s commitment to supporting and improving the livelihood of its residents.
