A serious crash on the R103 near Colenso last night (February 9) left one person severely injured. Heavy rainfall made road conditions hazardous, causing a second accident in the same night.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to hospital.

Earlier, a coal-carrying truck overturned in a separate incident.
