Power goes out in CBD

Electricians are currently working on the problem.

Alfred Duma Local Municipality would like to inform the public that there is currently a power outage in the CBD.

The outage is believed to be the result of a medium voltage fault from the Library Switching Station that feeds the central part of the CBD.

The affected areas are: Centre of town, Forbes Street, Murchison Street, Lyell Street, Keate Street and Alexandra Street.

The fault has been located in Queens Lane and a team of electricians is on site to carry out repairs.
