Body found after man doesn’t come home

Young boys in the area allegedly found Sithole’s cellphone

38-year-old Jacob Sithole (Mbatha) didn’t return home on Sunday evening after going to a local shop in Ngilandi, Mondlo, to buy cool-drink. Sithole’s body was later found at the corner of the main street and an informal road with multiple gunshot wounds. Young boys in the area allegedly found Sithole’s cellphone on their way home and recognised the profile picture. They took the phone to Sithole’s home, but he was not there. The motive for the murder is unknown and the case is under investigation.
