Banelungelo Home-Based Care, together with other stakeholders, recently organised a health and wellness event for senior citizens in celebration of Mandela Day.

The event was held at KwaMasheshisa Primary School.

Led by Mrs Busisiwe Shabalala, the organisation (based in the KwaGodi area, Ward 14) spent 67 minutes expressing love and care to the elderly residents who attended in their numbers. The senior citizens were showered with gifts.

The various stakeholders offered their services free of charge, and Shabalala thanked all involved for making this special day such a success.
