Court case involving prominent MK member withdrawn

The parties involved reached an agreement, allegedly following discussions led by a senior prosecutor.

The assault case involving Mr Mncedisi Makuyi, a prominent MK Party member in Estcourt, reached its conclusion in court today (August 29).

The case has been in court since July and has caught the attention of many.

The matter was dropped after both parties reached an agreement, allegedly following discussions led by a senior prosecutor.

Makuyi appeared in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court in connection with accusations that he had assaulted his wife.

After today’s court appearance, he confirmed that the case had been withdrawn, saying that as a family, they had resolved the matter.
