Inferno engulfs panel-beating business in Murchison Street

Vehicles were damaged in the fire.

A fire broke out today (September 16) at a panel-beating business in Murchison Street, with flames leaping up into the air. The blaze engulfed several vehicles, causing significant damage.

Thanks to the swift response of Alfred Duma firefighters, who battled against strong winds, the fire was brought under control. Despite the challenging conditions, the firefighters successfully extinguished the flames.

A few vehicles were damaged, but no injuries were reported.
