Prisoner transport vehicle crashes

Luckily no one was injured.

Accident at Farquhar and Francis Road intersection

A South African Police Service (SAPS) prisoner transport vehicle was involved in an accident early this morning (October 28) at the intersection of Farquhar and Francis Road. According to initial reports, no prisoners were being transported at the time.

No injuries
Authorities have confirmed that no injuries were reported. The officers in the vehicle escaped unharmed.

Investigation underway
An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the crash.
