Forderville Sai Group commemorates all the ladies

The programme aimed to honour Sai Baba's teachings through meaningful action.

The Forderville Sai Group, under the Sathya SA Seva International Organization (SSSIO), joyfully commemorated Sai Ladies’ Day on Wednesday (November 19) with the heartfelt Seva initiative dedicated to the health and upliftment of our community. For the volunteers of the Forderville Sai Group, Seva is an expression of deep love and devotion to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Inspired by Sai Baba’s timeless message of ’Love All, Save All, Help Ever, Hurt Never’, the programme aimed to honour his teachings through meaningful action. Held just days before the celebration of Swami’s 100th birthday on November 23, this service project became an offering of gratitude and love.

As part of the ladies’ day commemoration, the Forderville Sai Group hosted a free thyroid blood testing drive, serving women of the community with respect, care and compassion. In addition, the ongoing free medical clinic operated by the group provided a wide range of essential health screenings, all offered at no cost to the public. The services included cancer screenings, anaemia screenings, BMI assessments, blood pressure and blood sugar testing. This clinic stands as a beacon of selflessness in the Estcourt area, ensuring that community members have access to early detection and preventative healthcare.

“Serving the community brings tremendous joy, especially during this sacred centenary period as we reflect on his (Sai Baba’s) life, his message and his infinite compassion for humanity. As we continue celebrating his legacy, we remain committed to uplifting our community through service that heals, supports and unites. Meaningful change truly begins with kindness – and together, one act of love at a time, we can build a healthier, more caring society,” said the group.
