VHS outreach to the elderly a huge success

On Friday, members of the Vryheid High School Interact Club and ACTS visited the residents of the SAVF Jubileum Old Age Home to share love and appreciation in honour of Valentine’s Day.

Grade 10-12 Interact members handed out roses and spent quality time with the residents, who offered heartfelt words of wisdom in return.

ACTS members performed two songs, expressing their love for God through dance, and handed out handmade wooden crosses with inspirational messages.

During the visit, the Interact Club president delivered a touching message of gratitude, saying, “Without the love of our elders, romantic love would be of no value – considering the knowledge and wisdom you share with us.”

Vryheid High School extends sincere thanks to Ms Mattison for organising this meaningful outreach initiative.
