Grocery donation lifts spirits at NOFTA

Checkers Amajuba Mall supported NOFTA with a generous grocery donation to help care for elderly residents in Newcastle.

Checkers Hyper at Amajuba Mall generously donated groceries to the Newcastle Organisation for the Aged (NOFTA) on Friday, May 8.

NOFTA chairperson, Mr Morris Gajoo, and public relations officer, Mr Bully Singh, received the donation on behalf of the organisation.

Support for Newcastle’s elderly

The donation will assist NOFTA in caring for elderly residents in the Newcastle community.

NOFTA’s executive committee and members expressed their sincere appreciation to Checkers for its generous support.
