Residents frustrated over deteriorating Hibiscus Road

Community members are calling on local authorities to urgently address the condition of the road.

Repeated complaints fall on deaf ears

Residents of Hibiscus Road in Forderville have raised serious concerns over the deteriorating condition of the road, which they say has become riddled with potholes and is increasingly difficult to use.

According to a Forderville resident who would like to remain anonymous, the issue has persisted for a long time, despite numerous reports being made to the relevant authorities. “This is what we as residents of Hibiscus Road, Forderville, have to wake up to every day.”

Frustrated community members say they are now at their wits’ end from continuously lodging complaints without receiving any meaningful response or assistance.

Community pleads for urgent intervention

Residents are now pleading for their concerns to be highlighted publicly in the hope that intervention will finally take place. They say the pothole-riddled road is not only an inconvenience to motorists, but also poses a safety risk to both drivers and pedestrians who use the route daily.

Community members are again calling on local authorities to urgently address the condition of the road before the situation worsens further.
