The school wishes Bafana Bafana well.

Soccer excitement has hit Monument Primary School, with learners celebrating the FIFA World Cup by wearing their favourite team’s football shirts every Friday.

The pupils were excited after Bafana Bafana’s 1-1 draw against Czechia (Czech Republic) on Thursday (June 18), adding to the celebration of football’s biggest tournament.

Colour and excitement around the school

“It has been wonderful to see so many different teams represented and to share in the excitement of football’s biggest event. The colourful shirts and enthusiastic supporters have certainly added to the World Cup spirit around our school,” said principal Mr Rich.
