Members of Club 60 gathered at the Klipkerk Hall on Thursday for an afternoon of live music, fellowship and refreshments, with around 50 people attending the social event.

Singer entertains with wide-ranging repertoire

The afternoon’s entertainment was provided by singer Andrew Mills, who performed a diverse programme featuring songs from a variety of musical genres.

Originally from Kearsney College, Mills has built an extensive repertoire through performances in numerous productions. His programme included both classic favourites and contemporary hits, with his rich voice and engaging stage presence keeping the audience entertained throughout the afternoon.

Reflecting on the performance, Mills said live music has the ability to create meaningful connections.

“There is something profoundly powerful about live music – the way it brings people together, stirs emotion and creates lasting memories,” he said.

“Whether I’m singing on a stage before a large crowd or in an intimate gathering, I count it a true honour to take audiences on a journey through songs that create new moments and awaken treasured ones from the past.”

The gathering was made possible through a local sponsorship, which provided refreshments for those in attendance and contributed to the afternoon’s welcoming atmosphere.

Club 60 members expressed their appreciation for both the entertainment and the sponsorship, saying the event was another successful celebration of friendship and community spirit.
