Ezakheni Plaza awards top achievers in Grade 11

The award recipients were encouraged to do even better in matric this year.

It was all smiles as the Ezakheni Plaza held the Grade 11 Top Achievers Awards on Wednesday (May 14).

Brand new laptops valued at R6500 each were given to eight learners from different schools for excelling academically in Grade 11 last year.

The recipients were: Sekwanele Malevu (Ekukhuleni High School), Andlile Dlamini (St Chad’s High School), Hlongwane Hlakaniphile (Colenso Combined School), Sinakho Mswane (Ncinjane Secondary School), Malibongwe Nkala (Sakhelwe High School), Sithembiso Radebe (Ezakheni High School), Alwande Hlatshwayo (Endakane High School) and Avela Mtshali (Qophindlela Secondary School).

Gracing the event were principals, Department of Education circuit officials, representatives from school governing bodies, and parents.

The learners expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Ezakheni Plaza manager Ms Veena Sanker.
