Michaelis learners celebrate Bee Day in style

An un-bee-lievable day for sure!

Michaelis Private School highlighted World Bee Day (May 20) with a buzzing civvies day on May 23, as the learners came dressed in yellow, black and all things bee-themed. Bee Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the vital role bees play in pollination, food production and maintaining healthy ecosystems.
To add to the bee-centred week, the school hosted a bee-themed drawing competition – and the learners’ creativity truly shone. With so many brilliant entries, the judges had a tough time choosing the winners. “It was a close competition and a fantastic way to honour our little pollinator heroes.”
An un-bee-lievable day for sure!
