Ferrum High School’s 1st Team Hockey girls delivered an outstanding performance at the SPAR KZN Hockey Grand Finals, hosted by St Mary’s DSG last weekend.
Coming up against the province’s top teams, they demonstrated grit, camaraderie, and drive.
Day 1 results:
- FHS vs Epworth – lost 0–3
- FHS vs St Mary’s – lost 0–1
- FHS vs Kingsway – won 4–0
- FHS vs St Patrick’s – drew 0–0
Day 2 results:
- FHS vs Felixton – won 1–0
- 5th/6th place play-off vs Maris Stella – lost 0–1
Final standing:
- 6th place out of 10 teams
