LHS marks 120 years with festive sports day

It was a day of fun and celebration that was thoroughly enjoyed by the learners.

Ladysmith High School (LHS) commemorated its 120th anniversary by hosting a lively sports day that brought learners together for a day of fun and celebration on Saturday, January 24.

School principal Mr Hugh Clark addressed those in attendance, emphasising the value of honouring the school’s long-standing legacy while encouraging togetherness, pride and enjoyment among learners.

The event featured pupils dressed in imaginative themed costumes, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Throughout the day, learners enthusiastically participated in various activities, with the school grounds buzzing with excitement and laughter.
