Treverton College is celebrating an exceptional international sporting achievement after learners Jayden Davis and Jason Reineke secured an impressive eighth-place overall finish at the prestigious Adventure Racing World Series in Canada.

Competing against some of the world’s strongest adventure racing teams, the pair demonstrated remarkable determination, resilience and teamwork throughout one of the toughest endurance events on the global sporting calendar. Their outstanding performance has brought pride not only to Treverton College but also to South Africa.

Consistent strong performance

Jayden and Jason delivered a consistently strong performance across the multi-day competition. After completing Day 1 in 10th place, they produced an exceptional second-day effort to climb to sixth position before ultimately securing an outstanding eighth-place finish overall.

Their ability to remain focused, adapt to the demanding conditions and work seamlessly as a team highlights the qualities required to compete successfully at the highest level of adventure racing.

Treverton College praised the learners for embodying the school’s core values of courage, perseverance, sportsmanship and resilience.
