‘Worried about the image of the ruling party’

'I think the ANC branches must stand up and face this. Really, this is denting the image of the party."

Sir,
I would like to express my serious concerns about the leaders of the ANC in the Mbambatha Region.
I am very worried because these leaders are all out to destroy the Endumeni Municipality by giving incorrect advice to certain councillors, with the aim to benefit from the awarding of some tenders.
The ANC took a resolution in Mangaung where they stated very clearly that members who have cases pending against them are not allowed to be elected in any of the ANC structures.
What is surprising to me is that some leaders in the ANC Bhambatha Region are in and out of the courts. It gets worse, as one leader was found guilty, and sentenced to serve under correctional supervision, for corruption and fraud. These leaders are still occupying the highest posts in the ANC. Why is the ANC provincial leadership quiet about this?
I think the ANC branches must stand up and face this. Really, this is denting the image of the party.
