Q: Mayor please can they do someting with the rubbish people dump at Drakensberg no 50 our town is beautil. Mev s Pretorius

A:People need to be educated to take care of our town, it is unfortunate that people still litter even after we boast to have the cleanest town.

Q: What are the municipal bylaws regarding to loud music, and which department can be contacted to sort out these issues?

A: I am sure there are limits to decibels and also time cut offs, it’s best to report these matters to the saps as it a disturbance.

Q: Please do not ignore our CHARLESTOWN people as we want to know what happened to your promise regarding the graveyard? Thank you.

A: The graveyard will be fenced, we installing a new play park, water and electricity is done! Housing project almost ready, new community hall! Definitely not ignoring!

Q: Dear Mayor, I’m trying to train for the Chelmsford Challenge in January but the municipal pool is only opened between 11 and 6 when most people are at work. Could we pls arrange for it to be opened between 6 and 8am for those of us who works? All good and well that we’re heating it but that won’t help anyone if it’s not open for swimmers to train…

A: I agree. I have asked the dept to investigate the possibility of reviewing their times.
