Madam – Reading the story about the biker’s near fatal crash.

I am a old Newcastle resident, been riding bikes most of my life, been on every rally for the last 10 years and navigate to work daily in Johannesburg and let me tell you that I think Johannesburg drivers are more considerate to bikers than Newcastle drivers.

Was in Newcastle over the December holiday with my bike and your town’s drivers and pedestrians are the worst I have seen in a while. Pedestrians are the worst, they have no clue how to walk at a crossing. Never in my life have I seen this in any town before.

And speaking as a old Newcastle resident I really don’t want to drive in that town again. Newcastle residents need to learn how to drive again, seen the NN vehicles in GP as well and it’s really not good.
