Q: The open area above Impala rd in Pioneer Park has become a Moto X track for for youngsters without licences. The concerns are that we have purchased a house in this apparently quiet area, but now hve motorbikes scraming up and down every weekend and holidays. Also i no longer can allow my children to play there as it is far too dangerous. Pls can something be done about this. Thank you.

A: It’s best to have a discussion around that issue with your ward cllr. We have tasked the department to look at a safe venue for moto x and we know there other tracks available in town for this use. The ward cllr should consult the traffic department and resolve this matter.

Q: Mayor – A inocent life was lost at ingagane because of a ward concillor who open the pool without the supervision that place is where the children smoke dagga and on top of it he is letting his relatives stay on that property what we don’t understand is where is the mayor when all these is happening we want to know from you why that place was open from the first place if were going to loose our children pls mayor do something before we loose another inocent life or close that place if its going to kill our children anyway we are not benefiting anything from that place only the councillor is benefiting there (angry resident)

A: I have received a memorandum from the residents and will be dealing with it holistically. As far as I know, the sports ground is not open to the public and will not be opened until it is refurbished.

Q: Mr Mayor, thanx ever so much 4 what u hve done @ Newcastle,we luv u,my 2 questions r,1.why are all big trees on streets of hluhluwe being cut down over 40yrs old? 2.why do we get one refuse bag now but we pay more than R100 refusal services?pls help us we depend on u as de councellors r unavailable

A: The trees’ roots are damaging water pipes and the road surface. We are trying to address the second bag problem, due to price increases on the purchase of the bags, out budget was not sufficient. We hope to solve this within the next few weeks.

Q: Hi, Mr Mayor, I sometimes have meetings late in the evening and leave work when its dark, I drive alone. Am I allowed to treat a robot as a stop sign late at night? With the fear of being attacked.

A: It’s best you pose this question to the traffic cop sitting in the bushes near that traffic light!!
