Bikers raise money for young Peet

We are indeed grateful to God for using our local newspaper to show His love, despite the difficulties that we endure in this world

Editor – The bikers of Ladysmith and surrounding towns would hereby like to express our appreciation to the Ladysmith Gazette for advertising the bike run that was planned for Sunday, February 9, in order to raise funds for Peet Barnard.

We are indeed grateful to God for using our local newspaper to show His love, despite the difficulties that we endure in this world. And we honour Him for the assistance of the Ladysmith Gazette in reaching out to Peet and his family, and advertising the bike run for Peet.

With your assistance and advertising, bikers arrived in numbers at Steers (Shell Garage, Ladysmith) on Sunday, February 9, and a generous amount of R13,690 was raised in order to assist Peet’s parents in taking care of some of his needs.

We would also like to thank every biker who attended, every biker who donated, every bike club from Ladysmith and surrounding towns that donated, as well as Canopy Tours, Drakensberg, Wimpy San Marco, Wimpy Engen, Studio 11 (Hannah and Bokkie) and Spot-On Liquor Store, Ladysmith, for their donations. We honour God for His provision.

Peace be unto all in Christ Jesus.
