You get paid so do your job

IF YOU EMPLOY or hire someone to do a job, and they are fairly paid for doing the job, then that is the contract between you and that person. If you do that work for me, then I will pay you so much. Why then do some people, and particularly people in the public sector, expect extra thanks for doing the job they are paid to do, and even an extra reward such as a bonus and sometimes a bribe? For doing the job they are being paid for! We have a huge unemployment problem in this country, but it seems that those with jobs do not really appreciate the advantage they already have in being able to rely on a monthly salary. Be grateful and do what you are paid for doing. And do it honestly! Stop thinking you are entitled to more simply because you complete one simple task.
