Dundee Hindu Temple’s Ram Katha

Sir,
The Dundee Hindu Temple would like to record, with pride and joy, the resounding success of this undertaking.
Much more remains to be done in the promotion of our religious philosophy, and if the enthusiasm displayed by both young and old at our Ram Katha continues in the same vein, then this can be achieved without effort. This auspicious celebration brought us together as a community, like very few festivals do.
The prayer was done with rituals, bhajans, kirtans, and aarthi. It is written in the Holy Scriptures that, where a number of people come together to sing the praise of God, an immense spiritual current or Mahashakti is generated. This powerful vibration was felt by all those present, and many devotees found peace of mind and strength from this divine energy.
On behalf of the Hindu community of Dundee and surrounding areas, I would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Guru Umeshvaran. Without his dedication and determination, the profound divinity of this festival would not have been possible. A religion of rituals and formalities without philosophy is superstition. The Ram Katha conducted by Guruji was filled with many inspiring and enlightening concepts. Religion and philosophy must go hand in hand, to give a devotee the supreme divinity, which is every person’s ultimate goal. We are blessed that we receive this precious gift in abundance from Guru Umeshvaran. May God shower him with glorious blessings and may he achieve whatever his heart desires.
