Sir, 
Those from far and near who attended the Dundee airshow on Saturday will no doubt agree that it was a privilege to have been present at this great occasion. 
Being entertained by those magnificent men in their flying machines was an experience of a lifetime. Many people played roles in making the event possible, but a special message of appreciation goes to the Endumeni Municipality, and in particular Mr Mark Donaldson and his dedicated team, who put in a huge effort in preparing the runway and apron in time. The feedback from aviators who used our facilities was indeed positive. You made us proud of our town and our people. Having experienced Dundee hospitality and our facilities the comment from one of the visitors summed it up pretty well when he said to his buddies: “Why bother with shows in the cities?
“Let us rather come to Dundee!” And the good news is the show will be back next year!
