We would like to take this opportunity to thank the editor and the Courier for the coverage before and after the Dundee Airshow. It was an honour for us to organise the event.
We note in an article that was published in your newspaper on May 23, under heading ‘Airshow wows crowd’, that you mentioned the following: ‘The only downer was the fact that Umzinyathi District Municipality’s promised sponsorship never materialised.’ We would like to stress that the Umzinyathi District Municipality never promised any sponsorship. We have been informed via a formal letter that we can meet with Council after the airshow to discuss possible sponsorship for 2015. The Endumeni Municipality must be thanked for their support. Looking forward to 2015!
